Terms & Conditions - On Site Massage
Fees and Payment
On Site Massage comes to your workplace or event. For companies within 50 miles of Newcastle Upon Tyne a minimum of 6 people are required. One Practitioner can work on 15 people in a day. We cover the North East of England but are happy to quote for work elsewhere in the UK.
The following payment options are available. Please telephone to discuss your specific requirements and obtain a quote.
- The Company pays the full cost.
- The Company subsidises the cost, with each employee paying a proportion
- The Company gives the employee a 20 minute break and the employee pays the full cost.
- A day rate is charged for promotional work.
- We will provide a written quote by email and letter.
- A purchase order, or written confirmation on our completed booking form signed by a company representative, is required at least 5 days before service delivery.
- If the company is meeting the full cost of a booking, we will invoice you. Payment is strictly within 30 days of service delivery.
- Where you are allowing employees time off for their Massage, the employee pays the Practitioner by cash or cheque at the end of their massage.
Practitioners & Quality of Service
Any Practitioner working with me is qualified with a recognized Massage qualification and is additionally qualified through one of the 3 On Site Massage Training Organizations in the UK.
All hold Professional and Public Liability Insurance for Corporate work.
The quality of the service which we provide to you is very important to us.
To ensure maximum benefit for clients, we recommend working to an appointment schedule of 30 minutes for each client. This allows time for a short screening, 3-4 minutes, 20 minute massage, aftercare advice and preparation for the next client.
Other Important Information
- Please note that we do not provide massage at workstations. Your employees will only benefit from massage in the Practitioner's Acupressure Chair away from their workstation.
- There are very few circumstances where someone cannot receive OSM, but each client receives a quick screening which involves general lifestyle and health questions. All information between client and practitioner is on a professional, confidential basis and will not be discussed with anyone else. This extends to the confidentiality of your workplace.
- We recognize that circumstances change quickly in companies and every effort will be made to swap appointment slots within a booking, where necessary.
The 20 minute workplace massage works on acupressure points which influence a number of the body's systems. During a massage blood pressure lowers. It's important that blood sugar levels are maintained and that every client has eaten a light snack at least 2 hours before their massage.
The full OSM massage cannot be delivered to women who are pregnant, or trying to conceive as specific acupressure points have an eliminatory effect on the reproductive system. The massage can however be adjusted accordingly.
A Practitioner will always ask female clients, "are you pregnant or trying to conceive ?" If the answer is YES, the massage can be adjusted accordingly.
